On the 12th of December in 1899, an American dentist named Dr. George F Grant, one of the first black graduates of Harvard College, was the first American to patent a golf tee. It was a peg with a rubber top and was pushed into the ground, and is very close to the modern tee.
Fast forward 117 years and the combination of our interests in 3d modeling, plastics manufacturing, girls and golf and somehow the Hot Tee was created. For the most part golf tees serve a purpose, but they are very boring. We wanted to create something that would turn heads and start the golf bantering from the first tee.
Imagine being with your buddies as you pull out Sasha, our first hot tee. Think about the reaction you will get and how the Hot Tee will set the tone for the next four hours.
So treat yourself to one of our Hot Tees and never ever forget the reason we play the game of golf, have fun and perform at your best!
